Course Description

Introduction to Japanese is designed for students with some knowledge, or experience of the Japanese language at Middle School.

Students will develop their understanding of the Japanese language and culture.

This involves speaking, listening, reading and writing in Japanese and English about topics relevant to the course focus.

Students will be in a position to develop their intercultural understanding and sensitivity, which is an essential component to living in 21st century.
