CSC Scholars Qualify for World Scholar’s Cup International Competition in Athens

On Wednesday, 31 May, Casuarina Senior College participated in the World Scholar’s Cup challenge at Charles Darwin University.

The day was packed with various academic competitions including debating, collaborative writing, trivia and problem solving.

Throughout the day our teams worked hard and took home many gold and silver medals for several categories, ranging from debating, arts, literature, science and social sciences.

The College took out third and fifth place overall, with both teams qualifying for the Global rounds in Athens at the end of July.

A big congratulations to Chloe Varovcic, Darcy Sorensen, Jacque Esparagoza, Divine Benesha, Shaine Taborada and Serena Barton for their participation and outstanding success.
