Jingili Primary School Science Expo
On Tuesday, 16 May students and staff from Casuarina Senior College presented science activities at the Jingili Primary School Science Expo.
Year Ten students from the Centre for Excellence Medicine and Health Sciences and STEM program encouraged groups of Jingili Primary School students to view cells down a microscope, plunge their hands into non-Newtonian fluid (Ooblek) and fire the Airzooka to knock the cups over. The students and staff all had a great time and were engaged in the science. Thanks to students Amber Potter, Penny Battersby, Will Green, Amy Rose, Aimee Cowling and Ella Johnston and to staff Abi Mannion, Inge Gardiner, Kyle Nelson, Kellie Stripling and Xana Pereira.
