Science and Engineering Challenge

A group of Casuarina Senior College Year Ten Science students spent a day competing against other Darwin schools in the Science and Engineering Challenge, at CDU in June this year.

Students tested their problem-solving skills in a variety of fun, brain-teasing, head-scratching, hands-on tasks with real world application. Scenarios included catapults, bridge building, powering a city, and artificial limbs. It was a great day filled with teamwork and collaboration.

Casuarina Senior College builds a culture and environment where young adults are confident to take responsibility for their learning. This environment is developed through mutual trust, respect and care between students, staff and the broader community.
