Subject Description

In Physical Education – Fitness student athletes learn and build on physical competencies and sport specific skills, including ball skills, running technique, strength training, recovery and postural strength.

The sessions are aligned with the Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS) and the sessions are developed in conjunction with the NTIS.

Student athletes also have the opportunity to gain practical experience and skills in a range of sport fitness skills, including sports taping, the psychology of fitness testing, recovery, and hydration.
