Course Description

Movie Making is a practical course which provides students with fundamental skills and knowledge in the area of video production and editing. Students learn about:

  • Using digital cameras
  • Camera techniques
  • Capturing, sequencing and editing video footage
  • Adding transitions and special effects
  • Manipulating graphics for use in video products
  • Storyboarding
  • Teamwork

Possible video products include a movie trailer, music video clip, instructional video, short story, documentary or a commercial.
