Subject Description

In Numeracy Mathematics Supported Learning Program students apply their mathematics to diverse settings, including calculations, time and ratio, earning and spending, geometry and data. Numeracy Mathematics has an emphasis on developing students’ computational skills and expanding their ability to apply their mathematical skills in flexible and resourceful ways.

This course has been designed to be practical and activity based to ensure the course caters for students who have learning issues. The course will cover the critical components of the Numeracy program but assessment will be indvidualised to ensure greater understanding and success.

A TI84 graphic calculator or scientific calculator is required for this course.
