Course Description

Nutrition and Food Sciences looks at various aspects of science linked by food.

Nutrition shows how science is related to aspects of everyday life through the topic of food.

Students will investigate different techniques for growing food, the nutritional content of food, examine the scientific and ethical issues around maintaining a sustainable global food supply and research and suggest solutions to related problems.
