Course Description

In Music students work both independently and collaboratively, producing solo and group performance pieces.

They also develop creative thinking and analytical writing skills.

Students explore the teachings of a variety of musical practitioners, they undertake this through class visits, active workshops, and analytical writing, as well as experiencing a range of live professional performances.

Students also have the opportunity to take part in the annual Melbourne Performing Arts Study Excursion, where they will experience live performances, visit universities, undertake workshops with industry professionals and further develop their knowledge of industry standards and relevant practical skills.

Students may wish to utilise their experience and shows viewed as content for their assessments.
