Course Overview

Stage 2 Nutrition is aimed at students interested in deepening their understanding of nutritional sciences and who wish to pursue further study or a career in health, wellbeing, food systems, and lifestyle management.


In Stage 2 Nutrition students extend on their study of dietary, lifestyle, and healthy eating patterns with specific focus on nutrients and the relationship between diet, health, and disease. Students will also develop highly transferable knowledge and skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.


It is recommended that students successfully complete at least 1 semester of Stage 1 Nutrition before enrolling in Stage 2 Nutrition.
