Vocational Education & Training (VET)

Casuarina Senior College offers a wide range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways that help students gain real-world skills while working towards their Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET).

Our VET programs combine classroom learning with hands-on experience, giving students the chance to explore industries, build employability, and prepare for life beyond school.

What is VET?

VET (Vocational Education and Training) provides practical, skills-based learning that leads to nationally recognised qualifications.

Through VET, students can gain both school credits and industry experience, making it an ideal option for those who want to start their career journey early or complement their academic studies.

School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships

We actively support students undertaking school-based apprenticeships or traineeships, allowing them to gain paid, real-world experience while completing their NTCET.

This blended approach helps students develop confidence, build professional networks, and transition smoothly into full-time employment or further study.
