At Casuarina Senior College, we believe every student should graduate with a clear sense of direction. Our Careers Advice Centre provides expert, personalised guidance to help students and families make informed decisions about life after school.
Personalised Career Support
Our dedicated Career Counsellors work one-on-one with students to explore all possible pathways, from university and TAFE to apprenticeships, traineeships, and direct employment. Each student receives an annual career planning session aligned with subject selection, ensuring their choices support their long-term goals.
Specialists in Every Pathway
The Centre’s team includes two specialist counsellors, one focused on university pathways and another dedicated to vocational education and training (VET). Together, they help students identify strengths, overcome challenges, and create individual strategies for success.
Ongoing Advice and Resources
Throughout the year, students can book appointments for personalised advice on:
- NTCET requirements and subject choices
- Entry requirements for university and TAFE
- Apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities
- Resume preparation and interview skills
- Transition planning and post-school applications
