Casuarina Senior College is continuing to strengthen opportunities for senior school students, offering specialised senior pathways, strong community spirit and open enrolment access across the Top End.

Casuarina Senior College (CSC) is continuing to grow as a school of choice for families, offering students a unique senior secondary experience in the Top End.

As the only dedicated Senior Secondary College in the Top End, CSC provides students with specialised pathways, strong academic programs and vocational education opportunities designed specifically for Years 10–12 learners preparing for further study, training and employment.

Importantly, CSC does not have a priority enrolment area, meaning students from across Darwin and surrounding regions can choose to enrol and access the broad range of opportunities available at the college.

The college’s approach aligns closely with the Northern Territory Department of Education and Training’s Secondary Reform Program, which is focused on strengthening secondary education and ensuring students can access high-quality learning, diverse pathways and future-focused opportunities across the Territory.

School spirit was on full display recently during the annual swimming carnival, with students enthusiastically participating in a range of competitive and novelty events.

The carnival showcased the strong sense of community and belonging that exists across the college, with students cheering each other on throughout the day.

Adding to the excitement, the Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies class claimed victory in the popular Democracy Dash, celebrating teamwork, determination and school pride.

Principal Glenn Dixon said CSC was proud to provide students with a senior schooling environment focused on independence, opportunity and success.

“As the only Senior Secondary College in the Top End, we are uniquely placed to provide specialised pathways and opportunities for students from across Darwin,” Principal Dixon said.

“We are proud to welcome students from all areas and provide a learning environment where young people can pursue their goals, build confidence and prepare for their future.”
