Course Overview
Chemistry/Physics is a content rich course aimed at preparing students for further studies in the fields of Chemistry and Physics.
Chemistry/Physics provides students with a foundational understanding of key scientific concepts, principles, and methods from both disciplines. This course emphasizes the development of scientific thinking, problemsolving skills, and practical skills and techniques. Students will explore topics such as matter, atomic structure, chemical reactions, forces, motion, distance, displacement, speed and velocity. By integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on experimentation, the course lays the groundwork for further studies in these disciplines.
In addition, students will develop highly transferable skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking. It is recommended that students successfully complete Scientific Studies before undertaking further studies in science.
