Course Overview
STEM Centre Project is a cross-disciplinary subject designed to develop practical, hands-on skills that are essential for further study and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
Throughout the program, students undertake a series of practical challenges that promote problem-solving, creativity, and technical proficiency. Learning experiences include welding, coding and programming, 3D printing, electronics, sawing, milling, and other applied skills. These activities simulate real-world industry practices and support the development of collaborative and project management skills.
The skills developed through this subject also provide a strong foundation for vocational education and training (VET) pathways, apprenticeships, and university studies in STEMrelated disciplines.
