Course Overview
Stage 2 Physics prepares students for career pathways that involve problem-solving, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of physical principles. It is particularly suited to students who wish to pursue further study or work in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
In Stage 2 Physics students extend their studies of qualitative and quantitative models, laws, and theories to better understand matter, forces, energy, and the interaction among them, utilising evidence and data from active experimentation.
It is a requirement that students successfully complete 2 semesters of stage 1 Physics before enrolling in Stage 2 Physics.
