Course Overview
This subject is the entry point for our most academically rigorous English pathway. It provides students with intellectually challenging opportunities to refine their critical reading, writing and oracy skills.
This subject is designed for students who have a love of literature. Many Pre Literary Studies students become ATAR candidates as they progress toward university after Year 12.

It is recommended that students complete both semesters of PreLit English with strong results before moving into Stage 1 English Literary Studies in Year 11.
