Course Overview
This subject is the Year 11 option for the Essential English pathway. The Essentials pathway is designed for students who are interested in a flexible option to gain their core literacy credits. This pathway is not recommended for ATAR students.
This subject will teach students how to discuss and write about texts along with developing their own text creation skills.

It is recommended that students successfully complete both semesters of Essential English before moving into Stage 2 Essential English in Year 12.
