Stage 2 Fashion Design
Course Overview
Stage 1 Fashion Design is a subject designed to cater to students who have an interest in pursuing a pathway involving design, Fashion and textiles and the broader visual arts.
Studies focus on research and innovation whilst exploring practical skills such as basic sewing techniques, conventional and alternative fabric dying, textile printing, felt making, and a range of contemporary textile techniques and fabric manipulation.
It is recommended that students successfully complete at least 1 semester of Stage 1 Fashion Design if they wish to enroll in Stage 2 Fashion Design. There is an opportunity for acceleration into Stage 2 Fashion Design for keen students. This is by teacher recommendation.
