Course Overview

This Integrated Learning subject, delivered through the Stars Program, helps prepare students for life beyond school by developing skills that support their transition into employment, further education, and community engagement. It encourages students to explore future pathways while building confidence and leadership in real-world contexts.

Students will develop employment-readiness through career exploration, mock interviews, and site visits; enhance communication and planning skills by coordinating activities for younger school students; and create a personalised Stars Plan that addresses goals in wellbeing, education, employment, and community involvement. The program emphasises self-awareness, teamwork, and future-focused goal setting aligned with the Stars Pillars.

It is recommended that students successfully complete at least 1 semester of Stage 1 Stars if they wish to enrol in Stage 2 Stars in year 12.
