Course Overview
This Stage 2 Integrated Learning subject, delivered through the Clontarf Program, prepares students for future success in employment, leadership, and community involvement. It supports personal development through culturally responsive learning and practical experiences that build confidence, communication, and resilience—key skills for adulthood and the workforce.
Students develop practical knowledge in areas such as nutrition, mental wellbeing, employment readiness, cultural identity, and leadership. They engage in hands-on activities including cooking, running school programs, organising cultural celebrations, and participating in mock interviews and forums. Learning is centered around the Clontarf Pillars, wellbeing, sport, leadership, education and employment.
It is recommended that students successfully complete at least 1 semester of Stage 1 Clontarf if they wish to enroll in Stage 2 Clontarf year 12.
