Course Overview

Stage 2 Dance is designed to extend the skills explored in Stage 1 Dance. Stage 2 Dance sets the foundation for students wishing to pursue further education in dance or other creative industries. Students develop and extend their technical knowledge and skills needed to create and appreciate choreographed works.

Students develop dance skills in a variety of styles and use it to enhance their own performances and choreographic work. Students perform in front of live audiences, developing their on-stage presence and confidence.

This subject not only helps students grow as artists but also nurtures lifelong skills that can be applied to a wide range of careers in the arts, culture, and beyond.
