Course Overview

Stage 2 Drama is designed to extend the skills explored in Stage 1. This course is well suited to students wishing to pursue a pathway in the Performing Arts, or a career in live or filmed performance, and education.


Students learn to think and act as artists, and to develop as cultural leaders and creative entrepreneurs. They develop their leadership of public discussion by communicating a range of meaningful viewpoints, by refining their aesthetic understanding, and by learning the skills and processes required to present these in innovative and engaging ways. Students will gain a range of skills and knowledge that are essential for both artistic expression and real-world success. Students present their learning in a variety of ways, including live performance.


It is recommended that students have successfully complete at least one semester of Stage 1 Drama.
