Course Overview
Stage 2 Music Explorations is suited to students with an interest in composing and arranging music. This pathway will help prepare students for careers and degrees in music performance and composition. With further career opportunities in the live performance sector, music education and as a session musician.
The subject allows students to experiment and explore different musical genres and styles and engage with music in a way that reflects their own ideas and influences. Students present their ideas through performances, notation and multimodal presentations, preparing students for further studies in music composition.
It is recommended that students have successfully complete at least one semester of Stage 1 Music.
